Adam Clark Winstead, 35 of Danville, VA, went home to be with our Lord on September 9th 2016. Son of Clark and Karen Winstead, Adam was born December 6th 1980.

In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his brother Ben Winstead and wife Amanda, paternal grandparents Therit & Linda Winstead, maternal grandparents Charles and Margaret Dorton; uncles Phillip Winstead, Charles Winstead and wife Susan; aunts Carolyn Bagley and husband Will, Ellen Gould and husband Dave, Nina Dorton, Mary Dorton and numerous cousins. 

Adam was a graduate of UNC Wilmington and a member of Chi Phi Fraternity. He was employed at EBI; LLC where he was recently promoted in the Robotic Department of Maintenance as the Team Leader.

A beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many that will forever cherish his contagious laughter and love of life. A celebration of Adam’s life will be held Tuesday, September 13th , 3:00 at Swicegood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 3 prior to the service to share memories, tears, and laughter. Pastor Adam Cook, of Union Church, will preside. Interment immediately following at Highland Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Memory of Adam Winstead to his church, Union Church in Danville, VA.
