Alice Mae Fitzgerald Reynolds, age 72, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Riverside Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Reynolds was born in Richmond, VA, on March 27, 1944, a daughter of the late Johnnie Younger and Mary Fitzgerald Thomas.

Mrs. Reynolds lived most of her life in Danville, VA, where she worked as a caregiver. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her sister, Janice Thomas of Danville, VA; a brother, William Lee Thomas and wife Emily of Danville, VA; two nieces, Lakeisha Deshazor (Terrance), and Stephanie McCray (Rod); and three nephews, special nephew, Preston Thomas, William Thomas, Jr. (Jennifer) and William D. Thomas; and Goddaughter, Alisa LaVern Atkins.   

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her step-father, William Thomas and a special cousin, Mary Terry.

The family of Mrs. Reynolds would like to share appreciation and a thank you to Riverside Healthcare and Rehabilitation and all the staff members.

A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home at 1 pm with the Reverend Kenneth Fitzgerald officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the funeral home.
