Allen Shane Jackson Sr., age 52, of 28 Winstead Dr. Danville, VA, passed away on Friday, October 07, 2016.

He was born on May 03, 1964, in Danville, VA, to the late Bobby Jackson and Nancy Robertson Gammon.

Allen was disabled and of the Baptist faith. His granddaughter, Alli Chanel Jackson was the light of his life.

He is survived by his son Allen Shane Jackson Jr. and his fiancée, Amber Tate; granddaughter, Alli Chanel Jackson all of Danville, VA; brothers, Jack Gammon of Ringgold, VA and Bobby Jackson Jr.; nephews, Andrew Gammon of Ringgold, VA and Eric Williams of Danville, VA; niece, Andrea Gammon of Ringgold, VA; mother-in-law, Peggy Mason; and special friends, Dianne Jackson and Wendy Jackson.

A celebration of Allen’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be held after the celebration of Allen’s life at the funeral home. On Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., the family will receive friends at Allen’s residence, 141 New Ingram Rd., Apt. F, Danville, VA.
