Anna M. Hosmer, age 88, of 2526 N Main St., Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 07, 1928, in Steuben, NY, to the late Robert Meade and Anna Meade.

Mrs. Hosmer worked at Captain D’s restaurant.

She is survived by her children, Harold B. Hosmer Jr., Arlene Campbell, Judy M. Hosmer, Micheal P. Hosmer, Phillip V. Hosmer, Barbara Jean Chapman, Sandra L. Haley, and Donna Cobb; fifteen grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Hosmer was predeceased by her husband, Harold B. Hosmer Sr.; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Pastor Chris McGee officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at 1505 Blair Loop Rd., Danville, VA. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
