Benjamin Otis Jackson, age 63, of Danville, VA, passed away on August 26, 2017 at SOVAH Health.

He was born on June 30, 1954, in Danville, VA, to the late Raymond Joseph Jackson and Elizabeth Gosney Jackson.

Benjamin worked at Dan River Mills and was a member of Schoolfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Ray Jackson and wife, Mary Ellen, of Rocky Mount, NC and Bobby Jackson and wife, Katrina, of Danville, VA; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service, for Benjamin, will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Schoolfield Baptist Church in honor of Benjamin’s parents, Raymond Joseph Jackson and Elizabeth Gosney Jackson.
