Brittany Shannon Scott Grace, age 28, of Danville, VA, passed away after a five year courageous battle with breast cancer on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

Mrs. Grace was born on September 26, 1989, in Danville, VA, a daughter of Eddie Scott and Peggy Snead Scott. She lived all of her life in Danville, where she was employed as a DSD receiver for Food Lion and she also was a sitter for the elderly.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Matthew Grace; a daughter, Lillian Grace; step-brother, Johnny Scott; brother, Drago Scott; sister, Hallie Scott; cousins, Tiffany Grubb and Lisa Barber; grandparents, Helen and Curtis Snead.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11a.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden.
