Carolyn Ann Yeaman Booth, 63, passed away surrounded by her family March 20, 2015 after a brief and sudden illness.  She was born on March 3, 1952 to the late Raymond Allen Yeaman and the late Pearl Davis Yeaman.  She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Carolyn was currently employed as a Librarian for George Washington High School and for many years had been a teacher for Danville Public Schools.  She was an avid animal lover and was serving as President of the SPCA of Pittsylvania County.

In 1976 she married Johnnie Wayne Booth who survives her.  In addition to her husband, left to cherish her memory is her brother, David Yeaman, Sr. and wife, Brenda of Danville, VA; her daughter, Kathy Booth Cartee of Virginia Beach, VA; granddaughter, Lauren McKee and husband, Matthew of Tampa FL; grandson, Justin Cerna of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandsons, Nicholas and Noah McKee of Tampa, FL; great-granddaughter, Vaida Cerna of Virginia Beach, VA.  She also leaves behind, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 6-8 pm in the Barker Funeral Service Chapel and other times at Carolyn’s childhood home on Franklin Turnpike.  A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Barker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Myron Bruce officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Highland Burial Park.
