Mr. Delvis Lee Scearce age 63, of 17004 Franklin Turnpike, Callands, VA, died on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Scearce was born on February 27, 1954 in Danville, VA, to Virginia May Walton Scearce and the late Richard Samuel Scearce. 

Mr. Scearce was an auto mechanic by trade, unskilled lumberjack by choice (divided his house literally). He enjoyed a great car show, outdoors fishing, boating, gardening.  Living life to its fullest without a coozie, he enjoyed many good times with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.  

Mr. Scearce is survived by his children, Michelle Szymanek (Greg), Crystal Sims (Daniel), Dawn Morgan (Bryan), Tina Terry, Carolyn D. Terry, and Jonathan Terry; Carolyn Terry; Siblings, William Scearce (Tammy S.), Benny Ray Scearce (Laurie), Francis Wood (Kenny), Ann Bundy (Ed), Emma Scearce (George), Judy Weatherford (Darryl), Tammy Jordan (Bernie); and grandchildren, Abbygail Sims, Olivia Sims, Sydney Piercy, Cadence Terry, Mykaela Morgan, Carson Templeton.

In addition to his parents Mr. Scearce was predeceased by his sister, Wanda Crumpton.

A visitation will be held at Swicegood Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5 to 7pm.
