Mr. Donald Wayne Tucker, Sr., age 79, of 31 Baltimore Ave. Apt 103B, Danville, Virginia, passed away on July 11, 2017 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Tucker was born on November 1, 1937, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Mary Gertrude Wallace Wilson and Felix Joel Tucker.

Mr. Tucker worked as an insurance agent and was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish Mr. Tucker’s memory are is loving wife, Alice Hayden Tucker; his daughters, Amy Tucker, Wendy Keck and her husband, Harold; his grandchildren, Brice Tucker (Ellen Wallace), Brock Tucker (Janelle Tucker), and Harley Tucker (Karla Tucker); his great-grandchildren, Lilly Tucker, Regan Tucker, and Leyla Tucker; as well as many more family and friends.

In addition to his parents Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his son, Donald Wayne Tucker, Jr.; and his brother, Joey Tucker.

A graveside service will be conducted at Highland Burial Park on Monday, July 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with the Reverend Jeffrey Wright officiating.
