Earlie Henry Boles, Sr., age 64, of Blairs, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Durham.  Born in Danville on June 12, 1951, he was the son of Earlie A. Boles who predeceased him, and Eva Mildred Anderson Boles, who survives him.  Most of his life was spent in the Danville and Blairs area.  He had worked as a painter for Johnson Painting.   He had been in declining health for the past year.  He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church and had served his country in the US Army being stationed in Germany.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Boles is survived by his son, Earlie H. Boles, Jr.; a grandson, Earlie Alexandra Boles;  and eight sisters.  Graveside services will be held at the Boles Family Cemetery in Blairs at 11:00 A.M. on  Saturday, July 25, 2015,  officiated by Dr. Charles B.
