Elaine (Wilson) Bray

Mrs. Elaine Wilson Bray, age 56, of 2301 Peach Orchard Rd, Axton, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Bray was born on June 8, 1961, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, to the late William Henry Wilson and Hester Phelps Wilson.

She worked as a CNA at Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Martinsville, Virginia and was of the Holiness faith.

Left behind to cherish her memory, Mrs. Bray is survived by her son, Richard Roy Crews, Jr.; grandchildren, Cody Crews, Angel Crews, Flip Crews, Faith Crews; sisters, Mary McMillian of Martinsville, Hestell "Tissey" (Calvin) Crews of Java, and Dorothy (Paul) Payne of Cascade; also four nieces and four nephews.

 In addition to her parents Mrs. Bray was predeceased by her beloved husband John Lee Bray, Sr.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Scearce and Pastor David Terrell officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Wilson-Bray Family Cemetery.
