Mr. Elvis Presley Hicks, Sr., age 60, of 450 Piney Forest Rd., Danville, Virginia, died on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hicks was born on February 13, 1957, in West Virginia, to the late Ray Eldridge Hicks and Nellie Ann Hammock Hicks.

Mr. Hicks worked at Cloverdale Lumber.

Mr. Hicks is survived by his son, Elvis Presley Hicks, Jr.; his daughter, Jessica Hicks; his brothers, Danny Ray Hicks, Ray Eldridge Hicks; his aunt, Rita Edens; and his lifelong friend, Robert Smith.

In addition to his parents Mr. Hicks was predeceased by brothers, Jimmy Hicks, Clarence Hicks; and sisters, Rayanne Hicks, Nannie Faye Hicks, Pattie Jane Hicks.
