Mrs. Evelyn Nadine Hammock Richardson, age 81, of 124 Cooper St., Danville, VA, died on June 29, 21016 at Roman Eagle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Danville, VA.

She was born on January 24, 1935, in Danville, VA, to the late George Hammock and Mae Harvell Hammock.

Mrs. Richardson worked at Durham Hosiery.

She is survived by her loving husband, Earl Richardson; sons, Robert Harmon and his wife Deborah, Kenneth Ray Richardson and his wife Bonnie, and David C. Richardson and his wife Tracie all of Danville; grandchildren, Lisa Harmon, Lori Harmon, Robert Toler, Will Richardson, Angela Richardson, Kristy Richardson, Conner Richardson, and Drake Richardson; sister, Glenda Hyler.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Richardson was predeceased by her son, Earl “Eugene” Richardson; brother, Alfred Hammock; and sisters, Gloria Dalton and Hazel Jones.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 02, 2016 at Highland Burial Park with Rev. Freddy Vicks officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Barker Funeral Home.  At other times, the family will be at her son David’s residence, 955 Hunting Hill Road, Danville, VA .
