Florence Adkins Bolling, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at Roman Eagle Health Care. 

She was born on September 11, 1927 in Franklin County to the late George and Betty Adkins.  She was predeceased by her husband Woodrow Bolling in 1997, and her brother John Adkins.  Florence lived all of her adult life in Danville.  She worked for 40 years for Dan River Mills until her retirement.  She was a faithful member of her church until her health began to fail.  She was of the Holiness faith. 

She is survived by her son, Garry Jones and daughter in law Julie Jones; three grandchildren, Taylor Mackenzie Jones, Erin Koger (Charles) and James Hylton.  She is also survived by two sisters, Hazel Adkins Shively of Bassette Va, and Mildred Adkins Eanes of Martinsville, Va. 

Graveside services will be held Friday December 1, at Highland Burial Park at 3:00p.m. Other times, the family will be at the sons residence at 1456 Fall Creed Rd., Ringgold, Va.
