Gail Yeatts Chandler, 69, passed away at Piney Forest Health Care Center on Friday 27, 2015.  She was born in Danville, Virginia on June 4, 1945 to the late Larry M. Yeatts and the late Rebecca Motley Yeatts.  She enjoyed shopping and especially loved to spend time with her family.  Gail will be greatly missed.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Chandler and her sister, Jacqueline Smith.

Gail is survived by her children, Helen Wyatt and husband, Charlie of Axton, Wayne Murphy of Danville and Michelle Hill and husband, Jonathan of Rural Hall, NC; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Reba McDaniel and husband, Robert of Chatham ; brother-in-law, George Smith; best friends, Warner Collins and Horace Holt and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be conducted on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 4:00pm in Bethany Baptist Church, 12921 Martinsville Hwy, Cascade, Va  24069 with Rev. David Hatcher and Rev. Phillip Motley officiating.
