Mr. Harvie Edward Pressley, 77, of Ringgold, VA, died on March 28, 2015 in Pelham, North Carolina. He was born on August 3, 1937, in Caswell County, North Carolina, to the late Harvie Knox and Callie Hankins Pressley. Mr. Pressley retired from Mac’s Tire Service and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ruby E. Pressley.

He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Taylor; three sons, Robert, Timothy and Duane Pressley; four step-children, Thomas, Ricky and James Waller and Donna Oakes; three sisters, Frances Preston, Lillian Bowers and Gearline Bowman; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pressley was predeceased by son, Daniel Scott Pressley, three deceased brothers and one deceased sister.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11 am at Swicegood Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Blevins officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 from 7 pm until 8:30 pm and at other times at 110 McKinney Road, Pelham, NC. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
