Hattie Marie Moore, age 81, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

She was born on November 19, 1935, in Scott County, VA, to the late Paul Tipton and Stella Tipton Tipton.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Moore worked as a supervisor at Disston, and she was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Marie Lea, of Ringgold, VA; son Wesley Moore and wife Licia, of Sandston, VA; brothers: Lilburn Tipton, and Charles Barrett; and sister, Wanda Barrett; grandchildren: River Stallings, Jessica Moore, and Samantha Moore; great-grandchild, Kyndall Stallings; step-children, Bryon and Donna Reagan; step-grandchildren, Jamie Wedster and Jessie Reagan; and step-great-grandchildren: Savannah and James Christopher.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Moore was predeceased by husband, Leroy Moore and son, Gregory Moore.

A celebration of life will be held at 8:00 p .m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Swicegood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her daughter, Tina Lea, 3269 Rocksprings Rd., Ringgold, VA.
