Mrs. Hazel Jane Taylor Lazouras, age 85, of 273 Martinwood Rd. , Eden N.C., passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Lazouras was born on January 26, 1932, in Danville Va., to the late Lemuel Otis Taylor and Virginia Apple Taylor.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Lazouras worked in the restaurant  industry and was of the Christian faith. For a short while, she lived in Rhode Island.

Mrs. Lazouras is survived by her siblings: John Otis Taylor, of Danville, Va: David Franklin Taylor, of Greensboro, N. C; Robert Wayne Taylor, of Halifax, Va.; Nancy Matherly, of Danville, Va.;and Linda Bray of Eden, N.C.

In addition to her parents  Mrs. Lazouras was predeceased by her siblings, Nellie Nucklos, Bill Taylor, and Betty Wyatt.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Schoolfield Cemetery with Rev. David Bray officiating. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her sister, Linda Bray, 273 Martinwood Rd., Eden, N.C., 27288.
