Mrs. Ida Mitchell  Scearce, age 95, of, High Point , N. C., passed away on Friday June 9, 2017 at High Point  Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Scearce was born on July 26, 1920, in Danville Va. , to the late Augustus Mitchell, and Betty Adkins Mitchell.

Mrs. Scearce  worked in the inspection room at Dan River Mills for 29 years, and she was a member of Northview Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Scearce is survived by her daughter, Jean Livingood and husband Tom, of High Point N.C.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Screace was predeceased by her sister, Opie Hazelwood.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Duane Blevins officiating.
