Mr. Julian Wayne Bray, age 70, of Danville, VA, Born July 4, 1946-August 24, 2016.

He was a loving and wonderful husband, daddy and pawpaw. Julian worked in Dan River Mills until its closing. He was a lover of antique cars and car shows. He had played old timers baseball for several years. He lived a Christian life, doing for others and being a friend to many.

Mr. Bray is survived by his wife of thirty three years, Deborah Bray, of the home; seven children, Billy Bray, Starlette Moss (William), Wendy Bray, Heather Saunders, Danielle Collins (Steven), Julian Bray II (Catheryne) and Veronica Bray (Robert); fourteen grandchildren, Amber, Will, Stormie, Trysten, Buddy, Morgan, Carson, Harrison, Eleanor, Tyler, Aiden, Aubree, Dylan, and Alex; two Great-grandchildren, Bristol and Savanah.

In addition to his parents Mr. Bray was predeceased by thirteen brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home at 2 pm with Rev. Duane Blevins officiating. Visitation will be held one and half hours prior to service on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Interment will follow in Schoolfield Cemetery, Danville, VA.
