Kathie Hill Gauldin, age 62, of 1805 Old Mayfield Rd. Danville, VA, died on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Gauldin was born on November 12, 1954, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late Charlie Hill and Lera Seay Hill. She lived most of her life in Danville, VA where she was a homemaker. Mrs. Gauldin was married to William “Tommy” Gauldin who survives. She was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Anna Gauldin; step children, Jennifer G. Goodman, Randy Gauldin and Amy Stanfield; granddaughter, Khloe Maie Gauldin; step grandchildren, Cory Gauldin, Brittany Gauldin, Dylan Goodman, Trace Goodman and Ryan Gauldin; and two sisters, Charlotte Dodson and Gwen Mitchell.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two step children, Christopher Gauldin and Melissa Gauldin.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Swicegood Funeral Home with the Reverend Clayton Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday night from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
