Margaret “Polly” Gentry, age 86, of 202 Beavers Mill Road Apt. F, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her daughter’s residence after a decline in health for the past several months.

Mrs. Gentry was born on July 26, 1930, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late Claude Delmar Lewis and Mamie Weatherford Lewis. She loved and cherished her family with all of her heart.

Mrs. Gentry is survived by her daughter, Vickie Bullock; a granddaughter, Michelle Pruitt; two great granddaughters, Rikki Pruitt and Krista Pruitt; one great grandson, Zachary Pruitt and two great great granddaughters, Kylie Pruitt and Raelynn Shields. She is also survived by one sister and three brothers.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at 2:00 PM, at Barker Funeral Home with the Chaplain Lewis Harris officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.

The family would like to thank Legacy Hospice for their love and care.
