Mary Lucille Major (Hutcherson), age 33, of 201 Stephens Rd, Providence, NC, passed away on August 18, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on November 13, 1982, in Danville, VA, to Richard Hutcherson and Helen Louise Major. Mary was of the Baptist faith.

 She is survived by her father, Richard Hutcherson and step-mother, Susan Hutcherson of Reidsville, NC; mother, Helen Major of Providence, NC; siblings, Robert Major and wife Katherine of Axton and Richard Dean Hutcherson of Reidsville, NC; grandma, Rebecca “Becky” Jackson; four aunts; six uncles; two nieces; two nephews; and special friends, Kyla Ryan and DeShavus Clark.

Mary was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Helen Elizabeth Taylor and Milton Ray Meeks; paternal grandparents, Richard E. Hutcherson Jr. and Martha Cox Hutcherson.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  At other times, the family will be at her father and step-mothers residence, 3401 Grooms Road, Reidsville, NC.
