Mary Frances Reynolds Vance, age 78, of 128 Crestwood Dr., Danville, VA, died on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on August 10, 1935, in Washington County, VA, to the late Joseph Reynolds and Virginia Tignor Reynolds.

Mrs. Vance was a homemaker, and she attended Arlington Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son James Vance, of the residence; daughter: Violet Vance, of Albany, NY; grandchildren: Charles Vance, of the residence, Edward Travis, Jr., of Danville, VA, and Amanda Hyson, of Albany, NY; one sister, and seven brothers.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Vance was predeceased by her husband LeRoy Vernon Vance; daughters: Juanita Travis and Shelby Vance; and one brother.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Highland Burial Park with Rev. Kenneth Hayes and Rev. William Bates officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the residence: 128 Crestwood Dr., Danville, VA.
