Aurora Quintana, age 85, of 160 Oakcrest Road, Danville, VA, died on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Mr. Quintana was born on October 5, 1931, in Silvis, Illinois, a son of the late John Quintana and Aurora Quintana. He was married to Bettie Williams Quintana who preceded him in death and was of the Christian Faith. Mr. Quintana was a veteran of the Korean War where he received his Purple Heart.

Mr. Quintana is survived by his sons, Benjamin Quintana (Karen) and Danny Quintana; one grandson, Samuel Quintana; two sisters, Margaret Ludwig and Lena Arano; and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Barker Funeral Home with the Reverend Bill Soyars officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Highland Burial Park with Military Honors conducted by the U.S. Army.
