Ms. Kathleen Ann Ketchum, age 66, of 2526 North Main St., Danville, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on March 21, 1951, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Bud Nyle Ketchum and Pauline Gauldin Ketchum.

 Ms. Ketchum is survived by her sisters, Sandra Strader and her husband, Larry and Diane Dudley and husband, Jerry, all of Danville, VA.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Ketchum was predeceased by her brothers, Burl and Mike Ketchum.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Highland Burial Park with Rev. David Turbyfill officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of sister, Diane Dudley, 5014 Ridgewood Dr., Danville, VA.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Kathleen’s caregivers at Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Danville Association of Retarded Citizens, 734 Main Street, Danville, VA 24541, Danville Cancer Association, 223 Riverview Dr., STE. J, Danville, VA 24541, or a charity of your choice.
