Nadine (Anderson) Lovelace

Nadine A. Lovelace, age 88, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the residence of her daughter, Ann L. Burroughs. She was formerly of 1311 Walters Mill Rd, Providence, NC.

She was born on March 10, 1930, in Pittsylvania Co., VA, to the late Catherine Lindsey Anderson and John Dossie Anderson.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Lovelace worked as an LPN at Maple Wood Nursing Home Center for 20 years and later at Stratford House as a private duty nurse, and she was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence William Lovelace, Sr.; daughter, Ann L Burroughs; son, Clarence W. “Sonny” Lovelace, Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Danville, VA; sister, June A. Bullington, of Greensboro, NC; brother, John Dossie “Buddy” Anderson, Jr. and his wife, Lois, of Danville, VA; granddaughters, Wendy B. Evans and her husband, Keith and Karen B. Price and her husband, Marvin; great-grandchildren, Zackkay Evans, Brianna Price, and Bryant Price, all of Danville, VA.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Lovelace was predeceased by her sister, Gladys A. Sparrow.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Highland Burial Park with Rev. Daniel Lackey officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the home of her daughter, Ann L. Burroughs, 115 Oakhaven Dr., Danville, VA.
