Pearline Rowland Covington, age 83, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Mrs. Covington was born on June 02, 1933, in Pittsylvania County, VA, to the late Lola Pierce Rowland.

Before her retirement, she worked as a CNA at Roman Eagle and was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Covington is survived by her children: Archie Covington, Douglas Covington, and Lois Kendrick; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Covington was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Winkleton Covington and all of her siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Swicegood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Hubbard Family Cemetery, in Keeling, VA.
