Peggy Darlene Scearce Aaron, age 82, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her residence.

She was born on October 27, 1934, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Luther Scearce and Della Watkins Scearce.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Aaron worked in Dan River Mills, as a secretary, and she was a member of North Danville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sons, Ricky, Tony, and Luther Aaron, all of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Mindy Gibbs, Ashley Bailey, T. J. Aaron, and Tiffany Aaron, all of Danville, VA; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Aaron was predeceased by her husband, Bobby Clay Aaron.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at North Danville Church of Christ with Rev. Hershal Stone officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the church. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. At other times, the family will be at 37 Hunters Ridge, Danville, VA.
