Peggy Hancock Goodman, age 73, of 2834 Westover Dr., died on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Goodman was born on March 15, 1942, in Danville, VA, to the late William Lawrence Hancock and Evelyn Deering Hancock. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Goodman is survived by her sons: Paul J. Goodman Jr., Tony A. Goodman, and Richard Tyler Goodman; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers; and four sisters.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Goodman was predeceased by her husband, Paul Goodman Sr. and sister, Ruth H.  Anderson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 05, 2015 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Rev. David Hatcher officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park.
