Mr. Phillip Andrew “Andy” Banks, age 36, of 119 Carriage Hill Drive, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.

He was born on October 24, 1979, in Middletown, OH, to Eugene Banks and the late Joyce Ann Henson Igo.

Mr. Banks worked at Dollar Tree and was of the Christian faith. He was known by everyone who he came into contact with to have the purest heart of any person they have ever known.

He is survived by his father, Eugene Banks; brothers, Mark and Quay Banks of the residence; niece, Patience Nicole Banks; nephew, Anthony Michael Banks; niece-in-law, Kimmey Gill; and a very extended family, which consisted of many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 with Rev. Wayne Aaron officiating at New Life Community Church, 3837 U.S. 29 North, Blairs, VA.
