Mrs. Pricie Whitt was born on June 6, 1919 to the late Charles Edward Lewis and Osie Newby Lewis. She worked at the Memorial Hospital, now Danville Regional Medical Center and Roman Eagle Nursing Home for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved the healthcare industry.

Mrs. Whitt is survived by her daughters, Inez Walton Moon Morgan (Ricky), Linda Walton Jones (Jerry), Brenda Walton Cosner (David), and Margaret Whitt Sigmon; her sons, Grover W. “Bill” Walton, Jr,. Earl E. “Butch” Walton and Wade W. Walton, Sr; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitt was predeceased by her first husband Grover W. Walton, Sr.; her second husband, Johnny E. Whitt; her daughter, Diane Walton Hamlet; her brothers, Earnest Lewis, Hewitt Lewis, Otis Lewis, Elisha “Bill” Lewis; and her sisters, Pansy Lewis White and Louise Lewis Talbott.

Funeral Services will be held at Swicegood Funeral Home at 2 pm Tuesday with Reverend Albert Moser officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Garden on 58 West. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service and at other times at the home of Brenda W. Cosner, 4706 South Boston Hwy., Ringgold, VA.
