Rena Jones Obituary
Mrs. Rena Ann Devereux Jones, age 90, of 450 Piney Forest Rd., Danville VA, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on May 23, 1927, in Wayne County, NC, to the late Frank S. Devereux and Ethel Kimel Devereux. Mrs. Jones was married to Burnell Preston Jones, Jr., who predeceased her in 1997.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church. She moved to Danville in 1946. Prior to 1946, Mrs. Jones lived in Spencer, NC and was a graduate of Spencer High School.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Highland Burial Park with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating.
