Robert Dean Reynolds, age 75, of 908 Daisy Payne Lane, Dry Fork, VA, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.  Born in Dry Fork on May 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Olidean Reynolds and Doris Herndon Reynolds.  He was married to Louise Doss Reynolds, who predeceased him on April 19, 2015.  He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  He served his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam War.  In addition, he worked as a laborer in the furniture industry and was a farmer. After retiring, he was an avid gardener, hunter, and fisherman.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by two sons, Ronald Dean Reynolds (Cheryl) of Dry Fork and Kenneth Wayne Reynolds (Jane) of Cascade, VA;  three daughters, Patricia Bolling (Jeff) of Climax, VA, Sandra Bolling (Johnny) of Gretna, VA, and Angela Marie Reynolds of Danville.  Also, three brothers, Anthony Reynolds, Donald Reynolds, and Gabriel Reynolds;  four sisters, Marie Collins, Margaret Payne, Glinda Montgomery, and Eleanor Dalton.  Two step-children, Elmer H. Doss, Jr., and Polly Dix.  Also surviving, is six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five step-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by three brothers, James Manuel Reynolds, James Nelson Reynolds, and Lynwood Reynolds.

Graveside services for Mr. Reynolds will be held on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Highland Burial Park with Rev.
