Ruth Belle Martin, age 88, of Danville, VA, passed away on September 09, 2016 at Danville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on August 30, 1928 in Danville, VA, to the late Raliegh Martin and Bertie Hundley Martin.
Ruth worked at Dan River Mills for 37 years before her retirement due to health related issues. She was of the Holiness faith.
She is survived by her sister, Bettie Ann Jennings of Blairs, VA.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her brothers, Irvin, Bernice, Richard, and Douglas Martin.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2106 with Charles Riley and Pastor Daniel Royo officiating Highland Burial Park. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her sister Bettie Jennings, 9140 US Hwy 29, Blairs, VA.
