Sandra Grant Allen, age 68, of  Charlotte, NC, entered into rest on June 7, 2015 at her residence.

She was born on January 28, 1947, in Danville, the daughter of the late Clyde Thomas Grant and the late Juanita Hodges Combs.  She is survived by her daughters, Laurie A. Twigg and her husband Gregory of Cumberland, MD, Donna A. Cohey and her husband Benjamin of Charlotte, NC, Debra A. Cox and her husband J. Kevin of Java; a son, Brian D. Allen of VA; grandchildren, Roy Bible of Cumberland, MD, Joshua Bowman of Cumberland, MD, Brandon Allen of Plattsburg, NY, Heather Allen of Plattsburg, NY, Andrew Nelson of Charlotte, NC, Rebecca Cohey of Charlotte, NC, Christopher Cohey of Charlotte, NC, J. Aiden Cox of Java; a brother, Nathanie "Pete" Daniel and his wife Deb of Wilmington, NC; and a sister, Pamela Grant Meadow and her husband Kevin of Keeling.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Grant Weaver; and brothers, Michael Daniel and Butch Daniel.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Barker Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 7:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Henry M. Meadows officiating.
