Shirley Jean Crutchfield Davis, age 56, of Ringgold, VA, gained her wings on Monday, August 29, 2016.

She was born the baby of four girls on August 2nd, 1960 to Clarence and Virginia Crutchfield.

On November 3, 1978, Jean was married to William Roger Davis, who survives.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Kelly McClain and husband Bruce, and Kimberly Bledsoe and husband Jordy; grandchildren, Aaron McClain, Alonna and Nathan Bledsoe, were her world. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Peggy Davis, three sisters, Mary Dix, Ann Daniel, and Carolyn Leonard and husband Gary; brothers-in-law, Tony and L. J. Davis, and sister-in-law Becky Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 7:00 p .m. until 8:30 p.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Gregory Nunly officiating. At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Kelly McClain, 6025 Kenridge Circle, Danville, VA. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
