Thurman Howard Eanes Jr., age 55, of 216 Charlotte Ave., Danville, VA, died on Oct. 01, 2015 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

He was born on January 14, 1959, in Danville, VA, to the late Thurman Howard Eanes Sr. and Ethel Crowder Eanes.

Mr. Eanes worked as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Barry Eanes of Providence, NC; brother, James T. Eanes Sr. and wife Peggy of Danville, VA; sisters, Shelby Phillips and husband Charlie of Kernersville, NC and Shirlene Elliott and husband George of Danville, VA; one grandchild; aunt, Verna Crowder Albert and husband James; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 09, 2015 at Swicegood Funeral Home with Dr. Doug Barber officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p .m. on Friday October 09, 2015 at Swicegood Funeral Home.
