Timothy A. Reynolds, 41, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital on Friday, June 12, 2015.  He was born on October 9, 1973 in Danville, Virginia to Mary Moss Poindexter and the late Luke A. Reynolds.  Timothy graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School and also from Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, TN.  He loved German Shepherd dogs.  Timothy enjoyed raising horses and cows.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was a very giving person that would give anything he had to someone in need.  He loved living life to the fullest but most of all he loved his family. 

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Mary Poindexter and step-father, William Dudley Poindexter of Milton, NC; his sisters, Beth Scearce and husband, C.G. Scearce, Jr. of Danville and Rebekah Reynolds of Providence, NC; nieces, Christie Allen and Amanda Martin and nephew, Daniel Scearce.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 7-9 pm in the Swicegood Funeral Home Chapel.  A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Swicegood Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Matthew Pacifico officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Highland Burial Park.

At the family’s request memorial contributions may be made in Timothy’s honor to Ringgold Fire and Rescue Dept.
