Tony Edward Neal, Sr., age 71, of 350 Gilford Street, died on Monday, May 4, 2015, at his residence.  Born in Danville on October 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Troy Neal, Sr. and Margaret Neal Haas, He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and he was a veteran of the US Army.  He was a kind and loving person and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  Tony was married to Elaine Richardson Neal who survives him of the home. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Tony Neal, Jr. (Beth) of Danville, his daughters, Tracey Neal and Christina Neal of Danville.  Also surviving are his sisters, Juanita Neal Eanes, and Virginia Neal Carlin (Robert), and his brothers, Troy Neal, Jr. (Betty) and David Haas; grandchildren, , Tony Edward Neal, III, William Jay Runyon, Zachary Runyon, Virginia Neal, Cameron Fain, Emily Neal, Caroline Neal, and Joshua Neal;  great-grandchildren, Will Runyon and Madison Runyon.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Barker Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Greg Palmer officiating.
