Virginia Frances Hardesty, 84 of Oakland Park, FL passed away peacefully April 20, 2016. Born in Lenoir, NC on August 13, 1931. She retired from Allstate Insurance Co. and faithfully served as secretary at Twin Lakes Baptist Church for over thirty years.

She is survived by her loving children, Michael (Linda) Carter, Gail (Charo Rios) Carter, Bob (Christine) Carter, Stephanie King; sister, Shelby (Wayne) Bradshaw; sister-in-law, Bettie Prestwood; grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah, Sierra; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Hardesty was predeceased by her first husband, Bob Carter and second husband, David Hardesty.

Graveside services will be held in Highland Burial Park on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00 p .m.
