Mrs. Lucy Brumfield Haynes, age 71, of Danville, Virginia, died Thursday, February 29, 2024 at her residence.
Mrs. Haynes was born on September 24, 1952 in Danville, Virginia to the late Perrow Anderson Brumfield Sr. and Ellen Adean Walker Brumfield.
Mrs. Haynes spent most of her life in Danville where she was a legal secretary for Carter & Craig.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by her husband, Johnnie Haynes; son, Heath Haynes; sisters, Dorothy “Tink” Emerson, Vickie Yarbrough, Lois Crane, and Jane Hawker.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Nancy Stowe, Evelyn “Pug” Hunt; and brother, P.A. Brumfield Jr.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:30pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 118 Jenny Lane Danville, Virginia with Jim White officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 at the Kingdom Hall.
