Allen Linwood Anderson

Mr. Allen Linwood Anderson, age 81, of Danville, VA, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Anderson was born on July 17, 1938, in Danville, VA, to the late Archie Anderson and Laura Beverly Anderson. He lived all his life in Danville, worked at Dan River Mills Finishing Department for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his brother, Joseph Anderson; one granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Mr. Anderson was predeceased by his former wife, Sherry Anderson; daughter, Renee Anderson; brothers, Charlie, Wade and James; sisters, Eula Anderson and Edna Anderson.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 2 PM  at Swicegood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.  At other times the family will be at the residence, 199 Banner St., Danville, VA. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
