Mr. Alton Lee Corpening Jr. age 79, of 119 Westmoreland Ct., Danville, VA, died on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Corpening was born on July 30, 1937 in Danville, VA, to the late Alton Lee Corpening Sr. and Edna Marie Calvert Corpening.

Mr. Corpening was a security officer prior to retiring.  

Left to cherish Alton’s memory are his brother, Jim Corpening; and his sister, Anne Corpening.

A Graveside service will be held Monday, August 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery.
