Betty (Norton) Chandler

Betty Chandler, age 72, of Danville, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at SOVAH-Danville.

Mrs. Chandler was born on August 10, 1947, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late, Ellis Norton and Bessie Adkins Norton.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband, Richard Chandler; children, Angela Davis (Ralf) of Cascade, VA and Christopher Chandler (Jessica) of Rosville, GA; grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Kaitlyn Davis, Chris B. Chandler and Zachary Chandler; sister, Brenda Sue Roberts; also many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chandler was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Ann Hancock.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11 AM at Swicegood Funeral Home with the Reverend Kenneth Hammock officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at the funeral home, from 6 PM until 7:30 PM. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
