Billy Hardy Obituary
Mr. Billy Clyde Hardy, age 81, of 235 Holland Rd., Pelham, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at SOVAH Health Danville.
He was born on February 26, 1938, in Danville, VA, to the late Clyde Hardy and Ocie Pigg Hardy.
Before his retirement, Mr. Hardy worked in Dan River Mills as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Fulton Hardy; children, Faron Hardy, Sr.; Shelby Durham, and Bonnie Peacock and husband, Pete, all of Pelham, NC; grandchildren, Faron Hardy, Jr., Wes Durham, and Sheree Walker; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hardy was predeceased by his siblings, Lynwood Hardy, Wayne Hardy, Elizabeth Oxidine, and Patricia Shorter.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p .m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Swicegood Funeral Home followed by a service with Rev. James Mayes officiating. At other times, the family will be at the residence of his daughter, Shelby, 320 Burke Rd., Pelham, NC.
