Billy Lee McGuire

Mr. Billy Lee McGuire, 80, of 100 Pine Hill Circle, Danville, VA, passed away on June 15th, 2019, at his residence.

He was born on April 9th, 1939, in Danville, VA, to the late Gracie Rose McGuire, and Curtis Gilmer McGuire.

Mr. McGuire worked at Kroger as a meat cutter, and was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed driving his 1950 Ford to car shows and bringing home 1st place trophies.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Rust McGuire; his sons, Terry Lee and Barry O’Neil McGuire; his brother, Lewis Edward McGuire (Carolyn); grandchildren, Lance McGuire, Alex McGuire, and Christine McGuire, and two great grandchildren, Riley McGuire and Jace McGuire.

In addition to his parents Mr. McGuire was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Ann McGuire Hughes, and his first wife, Margaret Marie Oakes McGuire.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, June 17th, 2019 at 3:00pm at Hillcrest Burial Park, Chatham, VA, with Reverend Daniel Lackey officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence.
