Mrs. Deborah Haley, age 64, of 6469 Whispering Pines Rd, Cascade, VA, died on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Haley was born on September 30, 1953, in Danville, VA, to the late Nelson Haley and Barbara Hudson Haley. She was a loving care giver to her sister Cynthia and was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Haley is survived by her son, Kirby Proffitt and his wife, Brandi; grandchildren, HollyAnn Proffitt, Andrew Proffitt, Tyler Proffitt, and Trinity Proffitt; sisters, Cynthia Haley and Pamela Harris; nieces, Tannisha Redd and Michelle Adkins.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Swicegood Funeral Home at 7 p.m. with Dr. Charles Scearce officiating. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
