Gary Dwayne Hoskins

Gary Dwayne Hoskins, Sr., age 54, of 109 Dixie Rd., Pelham, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at SOVAH Health.
He was born on May 30, 1963, in Danville, VA, to Elsie Hooker Hoskins and the late David Henderson Hoskins, Sr.
Mr. Hoskins worked at Environmental Air Systems, LLC in Greensboro, NC, as a pipe fitter and was a member of State Line Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Hooker Hoskins; children, Courtney Hoskins Ramirez (Victor Hugo), of Yanceyville, NC; Elizabeth Sue Hoskins and Benjamin Allen Hoskins, both of Providence, NC; and Gary Dwayne Hoskins, Jr., of Pelham, NC; grandchildren, Anneliese Marie Mejia, Gavin Isaias Ramirez, and Lailah Galilea Ramirez, all of Yanceyville, NC; siblings, Mark Hoskins (Vivian), of Pelham, NC; Carlton Hoskins and David Hoskins, Jr., both of Danville, VA; Michael Hoskins (Angela) and Angela Hoskins Dameron, both of Pelham, NC; and step-mother, Dixie Hoskins.
In addition to his father, Mr. Hoskins was predeceased by his granddaughter, Andrea Marie Olivarria Hoskins.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 01, 2018 at State Line Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 8:00 p.m. at the church.  Interment will follow at a later date in Hooker Family Cemetery. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Mr. Hoskins brother, Mark Hoskins, 689 Arch Cook Rd., Pelham, NC.
