Harry “H.D.” Denton Ireson, III, age 40, of 254 Bradley Rd., Pelham, North Carolina, was taken away unexpectedly on March 18, 2019 in Pelham, North Carolina.

H.D. was born on October 7, 1978, in Danville, Virginia, to the Harry Ireson, Jr. and Deborah Ireson Hoskins.

H.D. worked in construction, loved fishing and listening to music. He was a peaceful, loving, soft spoken person who believed in a higher power. His quiet gentleness captured your heart. It made you feel better just knowing he was somewhere in the world.

Left to cherish his memory along with his parents, are H.D.’s son, Grayson Ireson; his step-mother, Melissa Ireson; his sisters, Kristi Leff (Seth), and Candi Ireson; his nephews, Harrison and Howard Leff; nieces, Hayden Leff, and Madi Belle Barker; uncle, Paul Ireson (Lisa); aunt, Ava Barrett (Tom); as well as a supportive bunch of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

H.D. was preceded in death by his grandparents, H.D. “Shine” Ireson Sr., Iris Ireson, Thomas Barber, and Doris Barber; as well as his uncle, Mike Barber.

Funeral services will be private.
